Purpose of the meeting
A meeting of the technical advisory committee concerning qualified energy generators using biomass. In accordance with ยง 2.2-4006 A 9 of the Code of Virginia, a technical advisory committee has been selected to assist the Department of Environmental Quality in the development and formation of a proposed general permit (9VAC5 Chapter 520) concerning qualified energy generators using biomass. The primary function of the committee is to develop a recommended general permit for Department consideration through the collaborative approach of negotiation and consensus. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the process the department will used to develop the proposed regulation as well as the content of the regulation.
