| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on a permit modification to increase the disposal capacity at the Yorktown Power Station Industrial Waste Landfill by vertically expanding the existing facility to a peak elevation of 194 feet above sea level over the existing footprint. The Dominion – Yorktown Power Station is located approximately 4.5 miles southeast of Yorktown, on State Route 630, approximately ¾ mile north of the intersection of State Route 630 and State Route 173 in York County. The public comment period begins on August 27, 2009 and ends on October 16, 2009. | |
