| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to charitable gaming in Virginia. In addition, the Board will consider the following regulatory actions: 1. Exempt actions to amend 11 VAC 15-22, Charitable Gaming Rules and Regulations and 11 VAC 15-31, Supplier Regulations as a result of recent legislative changes to merge Charitable Gaming with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and to raise the permit exemption threshold from $25,000 to $40,000; 2. Notice of Intended Regulatory Action for 11 VAC 15-31, Supplier Regulations to initiate the process to amend the regulations relating to electronic pull-tabs; and 3. Proposed regulations to amend 11 VAC 15-22, Charitable Gaming Rules and Regulations to include legislative changes relating to electronic pull-tabs. The board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||
