| Purpose of the meeting The first public meeting to begin development of the TMDL Implementation Plan to address fecal bacteria impairments in the Mill and Powhatan Creek Watersheds. Water quality monitoring indicates that bacteria levels in Mill and Powhatan Creeks violate Virginia’s water quality standards for primary contact recreation. The public notice appears in the Virginia Register of Regulations on May 25, 2009. The public comment period begins on June 18, 2009 and ends on July 17, 2009. | |
