Summary	The purpose of this document is to assist researchers and managers with determining whether a particular project requires review by the IRB, and if so, which of the various types of review is required. Additionally, this document outlines the actual processes and procedures needed for obtaining review by the IRB. Finally, this document also contains the text of the state regulations concerning the conduct of human research for VDH and a reproducible copy of all forms needed for obtaining review by the IRB.
