I know people who are uneducated love to say dry needleing is not acupuncture.  The law requires over 3,000 hours of study and a 5 hour written eam to do acupuncture. Now people with no traning want to do acupuncture and call it dry needeling .  If you use acupuncture neddles you can call it any thing you want it is acupuncture. I haave been told well we are only needeling un named points, they are called ashi pts and they have had a name for 5,000 years but because you know nothing about acupuncture you would not know that also I have been told well you can not hurt any one well what you can turn on you can turn off but once again because you have no traning you have no idea what you aare talking about.  How can the same state that requires acupuncturests to take thousands of hours of education allow someone with no traning try to do the same work and have insurance pay for it NO NO NO this is wrong Dry needling is acupuncture by another name
