We strongly oppose the proposed voter registration changes which are an open invitation to voter fraud. There have been no credible complaints that the current system disenfranchises or disadvantages anyone wishing to cast their ballot. The old maxim "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." applies.
A ballot cast illegally can cancel the vote of one cast legally. That, by definition, is dienfranchisement. If anything, we should strive to assure that only those legally entitled to vote can do so. Your proposed changes virtually assure the opposite. They should be withdrawn instantly.
