In Strong Support for a needed measure

It has all been said already:

Its the right thing to do, brings the commonwealth in line with best business practices to ensure competitiveness, and at long last recognizes that loving families, who care for each others' health and wellbeing, come in all shapes and sizes.

While the US Congress closes the door on the public option and the dream of receiving quality health care that is on par with what the rest of the industrialized world enjoys is still out of reach for many people, the Commonwealth of Virginia is taking a small step to ease health insecurity.

Still, this will only help those who can afford it.  This isn't good enough, is it?  But it is a step in the right direction and will change the lives of people who struggled to find health insurance because of pre-exisiting conditions.
