Reject limits on "controversial" subjects/materials - let teachers Teach

Teachers (and our school environments) must strive to create an environment where uncomfortable, difficult, even offensive, subjects, events, ideas, etc. may be discussed from a broad perspective. It is the job of the elected officials to stand behind those teachers, their educations and experiences, passions and abilities to do what they are hired to do: Teach.

Restricting the teachers and our school environments by enforcing vague "requirements" regarding "controversial" items is detrimental to our students' learning.

Please reject this proposal.
