I support this amendment

I am ever so lucky to have met reasonable and quality teachers thus far  in my 4 kids education. However, I am 100% in favor of knowing in advance what books my children will be reading or being read to while in the classroom environment. It is my job as their parent to protect them and educate them alongside the teacher. I have a responsibility to my children and am always in favor of evLuating what they may be learning when it involves sexuality or violence. PLEASE. I IMPLORE YOU to give parents a chance to know in advance what our children are reading. We will find out anyways and it avoids us having to cause a stink when something is given that is completely inappropriate for our child. Not all children develop at the same rate and what might be okay for one child may not be for another.

Thank you you for your time.
