I support the ammendment to the regulation.  I currently choose to homeschool, but am open to placing my children in public school in the future.  However, required reading that includes such graphic material, certainly does not encourage me to continue considering this as a future option for my children.  As adults, parents, and educators, we have a responsibility to educate children in a safe enviornment and protect minors from inappropriate material.  Even as an adult, I would find this material difficult to read.  Please take whatever measures necessary to protect minors in our school systems from being subject to this kind of material.
