In response to a difficult situation, the Board appears to have developed a very reasonable proposal that will allow educators to present appropriate instructional material while giving parents a heads up about any particularly controversial or innappropriate material.  The proposal appears balanced and relatively unburdensome.

I commend the board for its proposal and voice my support for it.
