Amendment preserves freedom of choice

I suport the amendment .  It allows parents and their minor children in the public school sytem the freedom of decide whether the student is forced to read material that many find offensive while it does not deprive other parents and minors who consider sexually explicit material part and parcel of the educational curriculum (hard to believe that such people exists, but apparently that is the case).  The amendement preserves the rights of both cadres; without the amendment, the rights of one part of the student population are trampled in a misguided attempt to reduce education to the lowest common denominator.  The school system has no right to force the views of some as to what is appropriate on anyone, let alone on minors and at the unwitting taxpayers' expense.
