EMS Educator Regulations

For  the most part, I feel that OEMS has done a good job with the regulation changes, however, they have not really thought out the EMS Educator.  I believe that the hardships of trying to maintain this certification will cause a drop in the numbers of instructors.  I believe that there are probably instructors who bear watching, but on the whole I know of some outstanding providers who are outstanding instructors that shouldn't have to jump through hoops (and bear the expense that these hoops bring) just because of a few bad apples.  I am suggesting that just the requirements for the 12 hours of instructor specific education and the testing every recertification period be pulled and that the rest can remain.  If an instructor is found to be deficient, then put a remedial or probation program in place not a blanket program.  Thanks for letting me comment.
