Our gifted programs support the children who will be the leaders of future generations.  It has been proven that they learn differently and need specialized education and teachers with training. Do not change the funding and oversight for our gifted programs.   Listent to those who have experience in teaching gifted children and those who understand the needs of gifted learners.  Just as there are different caliber colleges and universities for those who have different abilities; allow public education to provide the foundation for those who will excel at the top universities.   We are working with the future top 10% of the classes - give them all they need to challenge them and keep them trying to reach their fullest potential .
