As a teacher in Henrico County and a parent of an identified Gifted student in Hanover County, I do not see the benefit of adopting the proposed changes.  The plan cannot and should not be changed annually.  We would be in a constant state of flux and would never know where we were headed.  Many of the proposed changes would set the Gifted process back several years instead of forward.  Please reconsider adopting the changes.
