I do not support the proposed gifted program changes .  They will be overly burdensome, especially  to large school systems such as Virginia Beach Public Schools, which has an amazing gifted program already!  This type of nitpicky regulation will sap the enthusiasm and creativity of educators working in the gifted program.  It is that same enthusiasm and creativity that engages gifted learners and helps them reach their potential.  Please don't make these changes.
