The proposed regulation changes for Gifted Education will not move our state forward in the Gifted Education arena.

We need to keep the State involved in the evaluation of 5 year plans. Our school boards are not experts in the field of Gifted Education. They have very little idea of what makes a good plan or a bad one. It is CRITICAL that we do not look to our local school boards for the five year plan evaluations.

It is okay to be redundant to make ABSOLUTELY SURE money enlisted for Gifted Education purposes goes directly to Gifted Education.

Our Gifted students in this state today will be tomorrow's leaders. We need to not let them get left behind, but do all we can to make gifted education strong in our state.
