Energy Policies that Attract New Business

The four objectives do not address energy's environmental issues, primarily human health consequences like the impact of children breathing diesel fuel when riding on and boarding school buses. Energy policies must be linked to their environmental and public health impact.

Virginia either chooses to linger in 20th century energy systems, or embrace the new science and technology of the 21s century to become a leader in renewable energy initiatives that attract businesses seeking forward-thinking, cost-saving and environmentally responsible regulations that generate new jobs.

Congress just passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) that offers Americans financial incentives to transition to electric vehicles and sustainable, economical heating sources like heat pumps and solar that greatly reduce pollution. When it comes to Virginia's energy future, let's choose to lead not fall behind.
