I support a plan that gives Virginians and Americans a strong and independent energy grid. An all-of-the-above approach to energy is welcome. We need government to support and complement (not regulate) solar and alternative fuel industries. Ultimately, a free market economy allows businesses to compete and offer customers the safest and most efficient energy. Americans already want to steward and care for the environment. We don't need government to get in the way of that. Leave it to the people. We'll get the job done better and faster than "green" legislation or attempted coercion. Ultimately, Americans will choose energy that is strong, reliable, innovative, and affordable.
