The world is in a climate crisis as we speak. The effects will be felt throughout Virginia. Coastal areas will flood more. Farmers will have to deal with unpredictable temperatures and rainfall, and new pests. The elderly and vulnerable will die during heat waves. We know the problem and we know the solution. We just need the resolve to do it. We must replace coal, oil, and gas energy with zero-carbon sources such as solar, wind, and nuclear, as quickly as possible.
