Agency Decision Summary | The petition was published March 5, 2018 with comment requested until March 27, 2018. At its meeting on March 29, 2018, the Board considered the petition and public comment in support and in opposition. The Board concluded that it will not take action to amend its regulations because it would be burdensome to maintain records in different formats and on different schedules. However, the Board has referred the matter to its Regulation Committee for further study of the Virginia Immunization Information System (VIIS) to determine what would be involved in requiring all practitioners who administer immunizations to report to the VIIS database. |
