A request has been recieved from the Virginia Wine Wholesalers Association requesting
that this regulation be amended to permit wine wholesalers to differentiate between
on-premises and off-premises licensees in prices charged.
Agency Plan
In accordance with Virginia law, the petition has been filed with the Register of
Regulations and posted on the Virginia Regulatory Townhall at www.townhall.virginia.gov.
Comment on the petition will be requested until May 20, 2016 and may be posted on
the Townhall or sent to the Board.
Following receipt of comments on the petition to amend regulations, the matter will
be considered by the full Board to determine if there is sufficient need or interest
to pursue formal amendment to the current rule.
