Proposed amendments to the State Water Control Board's Water Quality Standards regulation (9VAC25-260) were published in the Virginia Register of Regulations in Volume 34, Issue 2, pages 193 - 236.  The public comment period was set as September 17, 2017, through November 17, 2017, with one public hearing scheduled for October 24, 2017, in Richmond.

The purpose of this notice is to announce a second public hearing and extension of the deadline for public comment.  The second public hearing will be held on November 28, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. at the Department of Environmental Quality Blue Ridge Regional Office, 3019 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, Virginia.  The deadline for public comment is being extended through December 8, 2017.

The Town Hall proposed stage has been updated and a notice will appear in the Virginia Register of Regulations on October 30, 2017.
