| Purpose of the meeting The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Board) will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. The Board will hold a public hearing at 10 a.m. to receive comments on the proposed regulation, 2 VAC 5-105, Regulations for the Inspection of Pet Shops Selling Dogs or Cats. Staff will request Board approval of a proposed fast-track action to repeal 2 VAC 5-205, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Shooting Enclosures, and will brief the Board on the expansion of the regulated area of 2 VAC 5-315, Virginia Imported Fire Ant Quarantine for Enforcement of the Virginia Pest Law. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. | |||||
