Document ID |
DS-PPD-20-06 |
Summary |

Under the COVID-19 temporary policy exceptions, VR counselors are permitted to conduct the initial interview by telephone or other virtual means (such as Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, etc.). Additionally, the VR counselor and the individuals they serve may utilize email for the purposes of acquiring the individual’s electronic signature on documents where VR policy requires a signature from the individual. Further, VR staff may utilize email for the purposes of acquiring the individual’s electronic signature on documents where VR policy requires a signature from the individual. The use of the electronic signature process is intended to ensure VR services are efficiently implemented and maintained. |
