On 2/18/2025 the board requested that this
emergency stage be extended until 12/24/2025.
Reason for Extension:
The Board of Pharmacy requests an extension of this emergency regulation, which will expire on June 25, 2025. The Board will vote on final amendments for this action at its meeting on March 25, 2025. While the final action will be filed for review soon after the meeting, it is unlikely that executive branch review can be completed, the Registrar publish the final regulations, and the required 30 day public comment period expire before June 25, 2025. Therefore, the Board requests an extension for these emergency regulations to ensure patient care is not compromised prior to the effective date of the final regulatory amendments.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 3/7/2025.
