Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes

The Office of Drinking Water (ODW) is developing technical manuals to replace Working Memos as a means of providing guidance on the Virginia Waterworks Regulations. The Source Water Manual includes updates to previous guidance related to protection of drinking water sources, and newly developed guidance on the subjects of source water protection assistance provided by ODW, harmful algal bloom response, and contamination event response.
