Purpose of legislation
Eliminates the ability to charge a per record fee to each health care provider submitting patient level data to the non profit organization which administers the data reporting system under contract with the Board of Health. Requires the Board of Health to establish standards for processing, verifying, and timeliness of data submission, and penalties for noncompliance.
