FBI background checks

We are wondering if one of the changes is to have FBI background checks be carried over to a new employer. Currenly, every time an employee switches jobs, a new request for a background check needs to be submitted, putting a burden ( time and financial) on employee, employer and the agency that performs the background check.

FBI - Transfer of Fingerprinting Checks

The current legislation supporting FBI Fingerprinting checks for all to be considered for employment is taxing administrative team members and prospective teachers. These must be transferrable to save money and time for teachers and center directors. Please consider estbalishing a process through which a prospective employer can access a fingerprinting check run from another center since the content is managed by the same system that approves their eligibility. This should be a seamless exchange of a file, verifying that the prospective teacher is eligible. It is concerning that teachers and centers are duplicating work for prospective employees.
