Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

Strongly oppose

I strongly oppose the transgender legislation in many many ways. First of all God created a man and a woman exactly the way he wanted to. And one of those purposes is to make babies.  You don’t get to change that.  I will not allow a child or grandchild of mine to attend a public school that I pay taxes for every day to ultimately confuse children to the point that there is absolutely no other explanation then God made you that way. By allowing such conduct you are inviting illegal and immoral acts amongst students. I will legally fight this all the way to the Supreme Court Or as far as I can possibly take it.
If you want to make our country less divided then put religion (love) back in school.  I am at awe as to how this country has gotten to this place.  The only way to get it back is to put religion back in our country and in our schools.
