These policies are designed to usurp a parent's authority and right to teach their own children about sex. Issues regarding sex should be handled at home especially through elementary school and the parents should always be informed about any decisions their child makes while at school. Under these policies, a parent may find themselves accused of child abuse if they encourage their child to embrace their biological sex.
These policies are also dangerous! If a biological boy wants to use the girls bathroom, he is allowed to do that and schools are not obligated to let parents know! At what age is this appropriate? In fact, under these policies all students can use any bathroom they would like. This will be a nightmare for most schools creating more problem than it solves.
Students with gender disphoria should have the support and help that they need. Schools can be a wonderful resource for students, but should never be allowed to take a parent's rightful place in teaching their children about sex.
