I am the mother of two high school children and I oppose this change on religious and moral grounds, and believe it will cause emotional harm to our children. It is unfair to impose my children to sharing bathrooms, locker rooms, or any other location that requires physical privacy with other transgendered children; or worse adults of a different sex. This policy infringes on my rights as a parent to raise my children based on our religious and moral beliefs. It will cause emotional harm to our children to be forced to deal with situations that deny their needs for physical separation from the opposite gender. Children should be raised with a level of modesty and respect for privacy until the time of choosing as adults.
