I have worked in a PT clinic for 3 years now and have not only seen but experienced the benefits of dry needling by a PT. There is a difference in dry needling and accupuncture, and it should remain in effect that PTs have the ability to dry needle. As a LMT, there are scopes of practice for a reason, and I do not believe dry needling is in the scope of practice for an Accupuncturist. Keep it for PTs!!
