Abortion Clinic Regulations Keep Women Safe

I sincerely hope the abortion center health and safety regulations are kept in place because they keep women safe. I have toured some of these clinics and mandating that they have lifesaving equipment on hand is common sense. No one is trying to take away abortion in Virginia. It is the law of the land. What those regulations do is ensure that doctors are prepared when things medically go wrong, which absolutely happens. These regulations were put in place back years ago and vote on. I was very active in that process and I hate seeing what has already transpired from efforts with very good intentions. Please remember that an abortion is a serious procedure and should be done in a hospital. When not done in a hospital and done in a clinic, those same regulations are in place for their safety. Let's work together to continue keeping women safe.
