These restrictions do nothing to help health outcomes and make it unnecessarily difficult to obtain an abortion in a timely way by shutting down clinics that don't meet ridiculously stringent standards. These excessive and unnecessary government regulations increase the cost and scarcity of abortion services, harming women's health and inhibiting their reproductive choices. These laws jeopardize women's access to safe, legal, high-quality reproductive health care.
