Physical Therapists graduate with the knowledge and skill sets from a rigorus doctorate curriculum and clinical experiences to prepare them to become experts within the musculoskeletal system. PT's graduate with an extensive knowledge pertaining to the human anatomy and are given the tools to safely and effectively treat musculoskeletal ailments with proficiency and confidence. Personally, I have had the pleasure of working with two physical therapists who have aleviated my elbow and shoulder pain utilyzing dry needling techniques. Physical Therapists are more than capable of successfully performing dry needling interventions, and should be allowed to continue to facilitate patient's needs with this intervention.
