Had needling done today in PT

I have had low back pain with numbness and tingling going down my right leg for years. I have seen chiropractors, doctors, and acupuncturists without any improvement. I started PT a few weeks ago and my PT mentioned dry needling. I talked to a few of my friends who have all had great experiences with needling by PT's, so I figured I should give it a shot. She was able to explain the physiology behind the process, what to expect, and the anatomy behind what they are needling. They needled my low back and backside. It was an interesting feeling but I felt an immediate relief after! I have not felt like this in years. I felt very safe the entire time and the PT felt extremely knowledgable. Those PT's have a great understanding of the human body. It would be a shame if they werent able to dry needle anymore!
