By allowing physical therapists to provide dry needling it is irresponsible and places patients at risk.  Acupuncturist recieve years of training and if physical therapist would like to provide acupuncture for their patients and include it into their scope of practice they are welcome to complete the same level of training and get licensed to do so.  However, they should not be allowed to name it dry needling and provide a ized version of acupuncture putting the public at risk.
