Needling does wonders, there is no doubt about it. But it should be preformed by professionals who have specilized in the study of it. There are modalitites that licenced acupuncturist can't perform and If patients would benefit from acupucnture their PT should refer them to a trusted Acupucturist. This is also how we build interdisciplany teams in the health care arena. "Dry needling" is acupucnture and should not be taught over a weekend seminar.
