While I am not a medical professional, I have beena PT patient for quite some time.  Part of my treatment plan has included dry needling that yielded fantastic results - a comment I hear resonate regularly from other patients (even outside of the group I use). I can't think of anyone i would trust more given their extensive knowledge of anatomy and what they heal just by feeling.  Unfortunately, this appears as though one industry is fearful of losing business to another.   PT should absolutely be able to dry needle.
