Yes to PT Dry Needling

Having received a dry needling treatment from a licensed Physical Therapist (DPT), I can say that it is a safe and very effective treatment.  PTs are highly skilled and educated, and I trust my therapist completely.  Dry needling does not need to be limited to an acupuncture clinic, if it is placed in the hands of a properly trained PT.  I find it contradictory to say that someone who can take me from a post-operative (spinal fusion) condition of barely being able to stand and walk to being fully physically active again can't be trusted to properly administer a dry needling treatment.  I find the whole argument against PT dry needling an absurd position and it comes across as acupuncturists not wanting to share a useful treatment procedure.
