Dry needling is NOT acupuncture!! Acupuncture deals with ones meridians, dry needling is a trigger point release technique! PT's deal with trigger points in the body! PT's 100% should be allowed to dry needle. Speaking from experience of having it done by a PT, it is amazing and nothing like acupuncture!
