I have been practicing dry needling for over five years now.  I went to class for 12 days (10-12 hours a day). .  I passed both a written and oral exam.  This is in addition to holding both a Masters and a Doctorate in physical therapy.  I am furious that you would consider removing it from our practice act. I have patients who didn't respond positivly to anything but, needling.  Some of these patients even tried accupuncture with no relief. Taking away our ability to dry needle will affect the patients with chronic pain living in VA.
