There is no substitute for practice and learned experience in treating patients. Correct answers on an exam
are only part of the medical education process. Any attempt to short cut the years of study and actual
hands on clinical treatment will increase the possibilities of nerve or other physical damage to patients.
The NCCAOM program works well and has produced many highly rated Acupuncturists.
I am not in favor of permitting dry needling by uncertified physical therapists.
