I have had trigger point dry needing multiple times over the past few years and it has been very beneficial for me. As a patient, I know that this is only being performed by highly trained, qualified medical professionals. While the tools used (needles) for both accupuncture and dry needling may be the same, the techniques and treatments are completely different and they have different goals.
