No acupuncture license No practic dry needle/acupuncture!

Dry needle is acupuncture. They use the same needle and method.  "Acupuncture" means the stimulation of a certain point or points on or near the surface of the body by the insertion of needles to prevent or modify the perception of pain or to normalize physiological functions, including pain control, for the treatment of certain diseases or dysfunctions of the body. Dry needle/Acupuncture is an invasive therapy. Dry needle/ Acupuncture have not been in the scope of PT practice, because PT has not been systematic acupuncture learning and training. In the United States, there is a complete and rigorous education and examination system for acupuncture. Anyone who wants to practice acupuncture must undergo a systematic study and pass the examination to obtain a license; otherwise, it will certainly be of great harm to the safety of the patients. Therefore, we oppose all people who do not have a acupuncture license to practice Dry needle / acupuncture.
