Using dry needle by PT is not safe for the patients! "Dry needle" is acupuncture needle, "dry needling"  is performing acupuncture. For the patients' safety, only someone trained and licensed in acupuncture should perform acupuncture. PT created the name "dry needling" to cover that fact up! Just like someone who has no training and license in surgery wants to use surgical knife to perform surgery, and create another name for surgical knife to cover up the wrongdoing!
