As an acupuncture student, we spend years studying and observing patients to gain more in-depth knowledge about this medicinal field. Concerning the number of years we spend to complete the acupuncture treatment, dry needling should not be practiced by PTs. There have been serious dry needling injuries across the countries and it is reasonable that experienced and well-trained acupunturists practice it. Dry needling is acupuncture!
