Attending a weekend course or a seminar does not provide enough adequate education/training to safely administer needling into the body. Dry Needling IS Acupunctue under another name. A provider that wants to perform Dry Needling should be required to have the same training/educaiton as an Acupuncturist, typically 3-4 years or more. The public's health and safety is at risk and causes public distrust witht the poor healthcare that accompanies a poorly trained provider.
